Thank you all for your submissions and expressing your interest in being part of the 17th IATS Seminar, to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 23 to 29 August 2026.
We are pleased to share the following updates:
The 17th IATS Seminar will be hosted at The Soaltee Kathmandu, Tahachal Marg, Kathmandu, Nepal (23 – 29 August, 2026).
You will receive information about the acceptance of your submissions by Gyalpo Losar on February 18, 2026, followed by the request to complete the final registration of participation and payment of the conference fee.
Registration fee for participants:
- Early Bird: $320 (expected dates, March 15-April 14, 2026)
- Regular: $360 (expected dates, April 15-May 14, 2026)
- Late Registration: $440 (expected dates, May 15, 2026 onwards)
Fellowships will be available, with preference given to scholars from Himalayan areas and to financially disadvantaged scholars.
IATS attendees will be responsible for their own transportation, arrangement of accommodation, and accommodation costs. We will provide a list of available lodging options close to the venue soon.
Sightseeing and further cultural programs will also be available but at additional cost.
