Thank you again for your submissions and for your enthusiasm in joining the 17th Seminar of the International Association for Tibetan Studies (IATS), to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 23–29 August 2026. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you. 

This is a friendly reminder to complete your registration as soon as you receive your invitation. Timely registration is a great help to us in scheduling the panels, and we strongly encourage you to register at the earliest opportunity.

• Regular Registration: USD 360 (15 April – 14 May 2026) 
• Late Registration: USD 440 (15 May – 15 June 2026) 

A Note for Panel Chairs 

We would be grateful if you could coordinate with your panelists to ensure that everyone registers on time. This will allow us to finalize the panel schedule smoothly.

For travel and lodging, our partner One Globe is offering a special rate at The Soaltee Kathmandu, our seminar venue. This is the best available rate at the hotel and is reserved exclusively for IATS participants until 15 May 2026 — so early booking is highly recommended.
